A few things to know.

Display Tips is operated by Rand Richter. These terms apply to your cloud account and, when enabled, email-based stream overlays. Contact support@displaytips.com with questions.

Your account and permissions

Use an account and inbox you own or are authorized to manage. Keep your session and overlay link secure. Connecting Gmail is optional and requires separate consent. You are responsible for your choice to display payer information and messages to stream viewers.

We display activity, not payments

Display Tips does not hold your tips, process viewer payments, or verify your payment-provider balance. Your payment provider remains the source of truth. Only supported receipt formats are recognized; a missing or displayed alert is not proof of payment status.

Service availability

Emails and notifications can be late or missing. Keep a tested backup while streaming. Creating an account alone does not start billing. You can separately choose a subscription through Stripe Checkout.

Subscriptions and cancellation

Standard plans cost USD $8 per month or $60 per year, plus applicable tax. Eligible new subscribers receive one seven-day free trial with a card required. After the trial, Stripe charges the selected plan automatically, subject to any applied promotion, and renews it each month or year until canceled. Checkout shows your price, tax information, discounts and billing schedule before you subscribe. Accounts explicitly designated complimentary do not need a card or subscription.

Affiliate offers

An affiliate code gives 50% off the first paid month of the monthly plan. Applying it in Display Tips before checkout starts at $4 immediately with no free trial, then renews at $8/month, plus applicable tax. A code entered only inside Stripe Checkout does not remove an already-selected trial; it discounts the first paid month. Annual subscriptions remain $60/year plus tax with the standard eligible trial; affiliate attribution alone does not discount an annual payment. Checkout shows the final offer before you subscribe.

Promotion codes

Eligible codes can be entered in monthly Stripe Checkout. Annual checkout does not accept promotion codes. A temporary discount reduces subscription charges for the period stated by Stripe; after it expires, standard monthly billing resumes automatically unless canceled. The standard seven-day trial and a coupon are separate: a repeating coupon uses a calendar-month discount window, not an additional trial. Review the final billing schedule before subscribing. Promotional subscriptions require a card, including a 100% discount. Code eligibility, redemption limits and expiration are enforced by Stripe. A promotion does not bypass Gmail permission requirements. Existing subscriptions can be reviewed with support. Complimentary accounts designated by the operator remain separate and do not require a card.

Cancel through Manage or cancel subscription in your dashboard before the trial or current billing period ends to stop the next renewal. Access normally continues through that period. Disconnecting Gmail, signing out, or removing an overlay source does not cancel billing. A failed renewal receives up to seven days of access grace; unresolved billing pauses listening and overlay access. Your overlay URL is kept, and resuming does not replay tips received during the unpaid gap.

For a billing dispute or refund request, contact support@displaytips.com. Cancellation is not itself a refund; applicable consumer rights are not limited by these terms. Cancel active subscriptions before account deletion. Dashboard deletion is available after the subscription access period ends; contact support for help.

Privacy and leaving

Read our privacy policy before creating an account or connecting email. You can disconnect Gmail, sign out, or delete cloud data from your dashboard. Your source emails and existing local installation remain unchanged.

Existing streamers

Keep your existing overlay source until you have tested the cloud overlay in a separate scene. Creating a cloud account does not migrate your old connection or replay previous tips.
